Flower Preservation FAQS

How does payment work?

A 50% deposit is required to begin your project. The remaining balance is due at pickup.

Please deliver your bouquet as close to your wedding date as possible to ensure optimal
preservation results.

You may:
● Drop off at our shop during business hours
● Drop off at the owner’s home (2 miles from the shop) after hours
● Schedule a pickup (fee varies by location)
● Ship your bouquet to us

If shipping, please send it overnight to the owner’s home address.
Preparation instructions:
● Wrap stems in a damp paper towel
● Secure a Ziploc bag around the stems to retain moisture
● Pack in a sturdy box to prevent crushing
● Double-boxing is recommended for added protection

We carefully sort and press each flower and piece of foliage using methods specific to the
variety.
Some flowers receive a brief, controlled microwave treatment to remove excess moisture and
prevent mold. Drying is then completed in traditional flower presses.
Certain blooms, such as anemones and ranunculus, may be preserved in silica sand to maintain
subtle dimension and shape.

All pieces are designer’s choice unless you request layout approval in advance.
If you would like to approve the design prior to securing, this must be discussed at drop-off and documented in your order notes.

We offer the following finishes:
Gold, Silver, Black, White, Maple, Pecan, Charcoal, Antique Gold, and Antique Silver.
Custom frame colors are available upon request and can be quoted separately.

Yes. If you need a specific size, please inquire for a personalized quote.

Your piece is framed and sealed by a professional frame shop.
● Sealed with silicone
● Built with risers so the glass does not press against the flowers
● Finished with museum-grade UV-protective glass
● Includes a secure hanging hook

Turnaround time is typically 4–5 months. While we are often ahead of schedule, timing may
vary based on workload and frame shop turnaround.

Please provide as many flowers as possible.
One bouquet is generally sufficient for smaller projects. Additional flowers allow for fuller
designs and flexibility during the creative process.

Yes. Flowers are organic and will naturally fade and shift in color over time. We apply a
protective sealant and use UV-resistant glass to help slow this process, but gradual change is
expected.

● Hang out of direct sunlight
● Clean glass with standard glass cleaner only
● Avoid harsh chemicals near the frame

We will notify you when your artwork is ready for pickup.
Shipping is available at exact cost. Because we use specialty art boxes and insurance for
protection, shipping costs may be higher.
